| Inspired by so many others, I decided it was time for another post. Except, nothing exciting is happening in my life. Here is my to-do list for the day: Taxes.........there is no need to see the rest it will only depress you more.
I am excited that I will be making the long hard journey to Chapel Hill next saturday and look forward to soaking up as much fun time with friends as possible.

| I have been reading this comic strip that comes in Parade magazine which comes in the Sunday paper and I am beginning to think that the writer is following me around.
The Sunday before I started my first ever full-time job as a teacher the quote was "I must be getting older. People are calling me 'sir' instead of 'dude.'" Then after my first week on the job (which was rough) the quote was "I tried to seize the day, but it fought back."
Which brings us to this past Sunday. I was eager to see if it lined up with my week. I sat down to read the paper while eating leftover pancakes from Elmo's where I had eaten breakfast on Saturday. As I turned to this cartoon the quote was "The hotcakes are selling like Harry Potter books" and pictured the character sitting at the counter in a diner (which is where I sat on Saturday).
Anyway, I am sure you are bored or perhaps a little bit interested to see what next week's comic strip will bring.

| Working
Well, kids I am updating my Xanga. Enough to say, stay in school as long as you can because even though working might seem easier it isn't.
I am off to watch some movies to see if I can show them to my classes.

| So, I should be studying for exams, but instead I have recently become obsessed with watching this old cartoon on YouTube. It is not the greatest cartoon, but it has sentimental value.
If you are interested feel free to look up Pirates of Dark Waters.
I am also attempting to learn a song in French called Aicha by Khaled. It should be an interesting break.
Well, that is enough of a break for today.
